Well I graduated in May, 2007, with my B.S. in Criminology and Sociology.  I moved back home around St. Louis in September and am currently attending the Eastern Missouri Police Academy.  I am scheduled to graduate from there on April 3, 2008.  After that, I will finally be able to be a police officer.  My plans right now are to work with the Washington, MO, Police Department as a full time officer, and work in Hermann, MO, as a part time police officer.

I miss all of my friends at CCM so much.  I wish I had the time to come down there and see you all.  Maybe after April 3rd I will.  Take care.

Starting in late August, I will be joining NET Ministries.  It is a great Catholic organization where I will travel across the country in a van putting on retreats for the youth of our Church.  I miss you all and I wish everyone the best of luck!

It's been a while since my last update but much has happened since NET.  I finished my year with NET and then worked at Kelly Services with a fellow CCM alum, Colin Keller.  After working there for 10 months, I am now at UMSL.  I am an academic advisor for the College of Education and really enjoying it.  I am also volunteering with the REAP Team, which is the retreat ministry team in St. Louis.  Please pray for us!

Hello everybody!

It's great to see that CCM continues to grow and thrive.  It's sure come a long way since it was my hangout!  Well, a lot of exciting things have been going on in my life.  I got married on 8/19/06, and then Marty and I went to Thailand for our honeymoon.  I would DEFINITELY recommend it.  We plan to go back again.  We had a great time.  It's very easy to travel there - all of the signage is in Thai and English, and most people speak English there.  We noted how it was interesting to see someone from Japan, struggling to speak English to a Thai person, struggling to speak English, because that was their only common language.  Anyway, the country is beautiful and very inexpensive.

Right before we got married, we bought an Herb business.  We sell Herbs, vitamins, homeopathics, teas, etc.  It was a family owned business for most of its 45 years, and we plan to grow.  My husband runs it by day, and I'm getting more and more involved in the day to day as time goes on.  But I'm the Director of Human Resources for Sage Software.  I've been there a little more that three years now.  I cover the West and Midwest, and we've gone through three name changes so far, so it all keeps me busy!

I still sing at church.  Currently, that's at St. Bridget of Sweden.  We actually got married at St. Bernadine's in Woodland Hills as that's where my old pastor is.  He really rolled out the red carpet for Marty and me.  We had Fr. Paul, a young Mexican Carmelite priest from St. Bridget's celebrate with him for our wedding.  I'm telling you, people kept saying they could take their act on the road.  For those around my age, you'll remember Fr. Dan - picture two of him feeding off of one another for the homily.  It was very moving, and very funny!  We then had the reception in the beautiful hall at the church.  It was a great day!
