Ground Breaking - May 2, 2000

May 2, 2000, Look closely at the first picture.  It seems the Bishop is the only one really working.  Besides Bishop John Leibrecht, bishop of the Springfield-Cape Girardeau diocese, present also were Fr. Len Brown, C.M.F., provincial superior of the Claretian Missionaries of the Eastern Province, the Charlie O'Reilly Family with Charlie's father, Chub, the Student Council, the Advisory Council, CCM Staff, and many, many friends and benefactors. 

With the Shovels in the Ground Breaking:  Fr. Len Brown, Tim Chudy (vice-president of CCM Student Council), Don Gibson and Don Aripoli (Advisory Council members), Fr. Eddie, Mary Beth and Charlie O'Reilly, Bishop Leibrecht, Eve Baer (President of CCM Student Council), John Moore (President of Drury University, and Ty Patterson (Vice-president of Student Development at Ozarks Technical Community College.)
