Well, I graduated from UMKC Dental School in 203 and moved back to Springfield
to work in a dental practice with my family. All is well, enjoying the
single life and all that the Ozarks have to offer for camping, canoeing, hiking,
etc. . . Looking forward to the warm weather of summer.

| This year was extra special for us
as we got to enjoy the addition of Ellie, who has brought us so much
happiness. She will be 1 year old on December 28th. Joshua
turned three in August and started pre-school. Zachary was very
excited to turn five in November.
Greg will graduate from the Texas Heart Institute's cardiothoracic
surgery program on June 30th. It's been eleven years of surgical
training. He is also writing a textbook chapter, in his limited
spare time.
Julie continues to be amazed each day by the awesome joy that being a
Mother brings. Her days are very full, but in a good way. Her
pediatric practice continues to be very fulfilling. Julie also
teaches 1st grade catechism, where Ellie has become the class mascot, and
will be baby Jesus for their Christmas play. |

| It certainly has been a long time
since I have had any contact with CCM but I think of those great people I
met so very often. Just after leaving Springfield, I became engaged to the
most amazing young woman, also a CCM alum, Kimberly Anne Batsch. Very
sadly, I lost Kim to her long battle with ulcerative colitis in January of
2001, just 9 months before our wedding was to occur. If you have a minute,
be sure to say a prayer for her!
I worked on staff in St. Louis for a non-profit organization from
1999-2006. While there, in mid-2003, I met another wonderful woman, Erin
Brock, who
re-opened my heart to love and in 2006 she convinced me to leave St. Louis
and follow her to her home city of Louisville, KY. At that time, I began
my pursuit of a Master of Arts in Theology through the Catholic Distance
University, we joined a beautiful parish, St. Joseph's (www.sjosephcatholic.org),
and on September 29, 2007, we were married there. I'm currently working
for another non-profit, while still finishing this Theology degree. I'm
considering a future in Canon Law, but that is a little way off
yet. I would love to hear from those of you who were around back then. |
