Thank you for considering a table sponsorship at Re-awakening ’23!  Catholic Campus Ministry is excited to have their first event in St. Louis and has strong ties to region while playing a large role in forming Christ-centered professionals in the area for over 75 years.   Members of CCM now raise families, work, live in the community, and are stewards of area businesses.  As the attendees invest in our community, we hope you will consider an investment in Catholic Campus Ministry as they continue to grow the future.  First, here is a little history.

In 1946, a group of college students from Southwest Missouri State University got together and with some clergy’s help, established the first Springfield Chapter of the Newman Club. Drury College formed their own chapter one year later and approximately 51 students joined these first two Chapters and formed the beginning of a vibrant ministry serving the students of the two campuses.

The Diocese of Springfield - Cape Girardeau invited the Claretian Missionaries to lead the ministry in 1979.  It grew quickly and provided a home away from home for countless students and future leaders.  The ministry grew, and in 1989, Catholic Campus Ministry moved to the Nancy McGregor House, where it remained until 2001. CCM continued to flourish and in 2000-2001, The O’Reilly Catholic Student Center was built.  Catholic Campus Ministry provides a spiritual home for Drury University, Missouri State University, Ozark Technical Community College and all college students that call Springfield home.

On Saturday, October 14, Catholic Campus Ministry will celebrate its first alumni and friends event in St. Louis.  This event is designed as a fundraiser and we are looking for companies and individuals to consider being an event sponsor so we can continue to grow strong leaders for the future.  St. Louis is a major feeder city for the universities in Springfield, and undoubtedly you have employees or co-workers that graduated from Drury, MSU or OTC.  We are expecting up to 300 people at this event, and they will see your name or company logo predominantly placed throughout the banquet room as well as countless more via electronic media.
